Salt Therapy

Salt Therapy

Salt therapy, also known as Halotherapy or Speleotherapy, is a non-invasive, drug-free treatment that relieves numerous respiratory illnesses.

Modern salt rooms replicate the microclimate of natural salt mines, which have been used since ancient times to heal miners and people suffering respiratory problems. Salt rooms have a stable temperature and humidity level and lack airborne pollutants such as pollens and dust.

The walls are lined with mineral rock salt which creates a sterilized and negative ion environment. As you relax, salt micro-particles are emitted into the room the size of 1 to 10 micrometers. Through breathing, they enter the nose, throat, and lungs and start the healing process. Particles larger than 5 micrometers remain in the nose and throat, while smaller particles penetrate deep into the lungs.
